800.000 Euro Vidi Grant winner
One of the five receivers of the 800.000 euro Vidi grant is NIHES teacher and supervisor dr. Iris Lansdorp-Vogelaar for her research project in personalized screening for bowel cancer. Currently, population studies are the same for everyone despite the substantial differences in risk. This project is aiming to put personalized screening into practice. First the researchers determine the optimal screening strategy based on gender, age and previous screening results, and then investigate the advantage of personalized screening in a clinical study.
